I'm back

For the last 10 days I've felt really crummy. I've had 3 colds and 1 sinus infection, so far this fall. I know that it's all due to putting in really long work days, and shortchanging myself on sleep. Right now, there's just a lot ot take care of. But I think I'm nearing the end of the super long work days. Just a lot to do, and fewer hands to do the work this year. Combine that with a computer that is having some age issues. I may be able to borrow a computer, so that I can keep up with online stuff.

Anyways, I'll take some time later today, to begin writing up some of the highlights of the past couple of weeks. Have a great day!

  1. Glad you're ok! With online friends, you never know the behind the scenes stuff. Are you also working outside the home?

    1. Hi Ruthie,
      Thank you. I started up my once per week preschool babysitting group in September. I was also asked to add a second day per week. But I've turned that one down for now. Even thought it would mean more money, I think taking care of small children has been a chief source of viruses with me. I'm still looking for part time work, outside the home. But I'm now more aware of my limitations, and time constraints.

    1. Thanks, Cheapchick. I felt like I just sort of dropped out of life this past week. Today has been a very good day, though. I feel better than I've felt in a couple of weeks.

  4. Sorry you have been ill. I swear by nasal lavage for preventing sinus issues.

      Thanks. I tried a neti pot one time, and not very successfully. But I'm going to try it again, as I've heard great things about it for sinus problems. I'm glad to know someone who uses nasal lavage with success.
