Brrr, stay warm. Spring is just around the corner!Lilinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4055690688282230469.post-75761209723355697292023-02-23T21:03:15.036-08:002023-02-23T21:03:15.036-08:00Hi Live and Learn,

Then I'll just cut the tiny plants off at the base, like how one cuts micro greens that are planted in pots of soil.Lilinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4055690688282230469.post-2572898710717395932023-02-23T21:01:27.896-08:002023-02-23T21:01:27.896-08:00Hi Alice,

I overwintered some geraniums for a couple of years about a decade ago. They got a little leggy, but I was able to keep them alive and then put them outside in spring again. Good luck if you try to keep it going until spring!Lilinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4055690688282230469.post-65512909578996871542023-02-23T10:02:36.348-08:002023-02-23T10:02:36.348-08:00How nice to see all the items growing. I don't think they like the weather we are currently having. We were part of the winter storm but thankfully didn't get much ice. It snowed, and then we got freezing rain and sleet on top of the snow. Then it froze. My daughter and I chipped away at our driveway today. Kind of icky, but at least we have power!

Sorry, Alice, I'm the wrong one to ask about keeping plants alive. I do know that my grandmother propagated them easily by cutting a stem and rooting it in water. From the picture, it looks like some of the sprouts are growing into the paper towel and might be hard to remove. Is that true or are the just on top?Live and Learnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13493777474885053903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4055690688282230469.post-86069078394772946682023-02-23T04:04:18.496-08:002023-02-23T04:04:18.496-08:00I love seeing things grow! It looks dead but it started growing some green leafy stuff during the winter and still has a little green leafy but most of the "old" stems are dead. I'm not sure what to do with it. I kind of want to see if it could grow again but not sure what to trim off. Should I let it go to die or is there life in there somewhere. I have a light on it during the day and I water it. Ideas anyone?
AliceAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
