This year I experimented with making cranberry chutney. We love it on a turkey and swiss panini, but the little jars were $4.49 each. Eeek!! My batch turned out great - a little different from the commercial product, but I know everything in it, and it was really inexpensive to make. We love it, it really livens up the sandwich.
