That's the only edible thing in her garden unfortunately!Everyday Life On A Shoestringhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06038009981638541163noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4055690688282230469.post-12989342371926275032012-07-29T13:00:51.851-07:002012-07-29T13:00:51.851-07:00Hi Sarah,

I had to adapt it a bit (well quite a lot actually) due to a lack of flour, but I think it kept its essence and works fine without a bottom crust, with cornflour in the custard, and with an oaty crispy topping instead!Everyday Life On A Shoestringhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06038009981638541163noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4055690688282230469.post-14531150791967416802012-07-29T08:06:48.573-07:002012-07-29T08:06:48.573-07:00Hi Sharon,

Rhubarb has got to be one of the most prolific fruit/vegetables (technically a vegetable) that I know. I started with 3 small plants 15 years ago, and now have 8 enormous plants, and I've given away 5 more.
Good luck finding some rhubarb.
Thanks for the comment!Lilihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13292553654219380455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4055690688282230469.post-5023662219498790032012-07-29T07:57:22.230-07:002012-07-29T07:57:22.230-07:00Thank you for posting this!
