I'll remember that for next time!Lilihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13292553654219380455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4055690688282230469.post-46470825404308942902019-11-22T08:04:28.252-08:002019-11-22T08:04:28.252-08:00Oohhh..hope you kept those beautifully gold painte...Oohhh..hope you kept those beautifully gold painted painter's tape. They make great 'junk journal' ephemera. I've been into that crafting as well as sewing blankets.

YHFLSIhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08172317190396812927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4055690688282230469.post-1880190846091520032019-11-21T17:26:03.718-08:002019-11-21T17:26:03.718-08:00Hi Kris,

She can turn a plain notecard into a really nice greeting. I do have a gold pen, so I might try to force some nice writing on a small card. We'll see.
Yes, you're right, this could be a nice way to make bookmarks, too! Thank you for the idea, Kris!Lilihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13292553654219380455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4055690688282230469.post-76045196722158238422019-11-21T17:23:25.971-08:002019-11-21T17:23:25.971-08:00Hi Live and Learn,

I only spray-paint one side of each leaf, which may account for their delicate nature, as opposed to sealing in moisture by painting both sides. I use a very light coat of paint. Perhaps if someone painted the leaves more heavily, they'd have more substance. But I can say that the leaves don't crumble when you pick them up or hold them. They're not that delicate.Lilihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13292553654219380455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4055690688282230469.post-17508632635268393262019-11-21T12:51:32.217-08:002019-11-21T12:51:32.217-08:00I love the look of the gold on white. You strike me as someone with lovely handwriting--I can see you making gift cards and bookmarks as well as gift tags using that method. Thanks for sharing your "secrets"! Question: Do the leaves get crumbly like they do when they dry out or does the paint hold the moisture in?Live and Learnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13493777474885053903noreply@blogger.com
