More s'mores indoors

Just one other thing about our family's s'more making, that might help you. When we're out of chocolate, I make a cocoa buttercream frosting to spread on the graham crackers. It's quite yummy and almost a reason to make the s'mores in the first place.  And for those who (gasp!) can't have chocolate (and I feel very badly for you), s'mores are also tasty with peanut butter spread on the graham crackers.  These remind me of Abba-zaba (a taffy and peanut butter candy).
