The dyed heirloom tablecloth and napkins from my great-grandmother, a center doily from my grandmother, the ecru luncheon placemats from my mother, the mid-century china from my mother and father -- all ready for Easter dinner.
Under the napkins are pink glass dessert/salad plates from Value Village. Pink/ecru is my color theme this year.
Oh Lili! This is the definition of beauty! So elegant and perfect for Easter. And I love all the family history interwoven into the pieces you've chosen. Blessings to you this Easter.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is beautiful! I have developed a cold and decided that I shouldn't be in the kitchen handling food or dishes for our Easter brunch tomorrow. My husband will have to be in charge. I am always more casual than you are, but I don't think he is going display things the same way I would. However, as long as he can get the food ready, that's all that matters. Guests are also bringing dishes, so it should be okay. We have a plan and I am going to prep him tonight.
ReplyDeleteJust stunning Lili. So beautiful and inviting. Looks like a very high end royalty dinner. Thanks for the photo. I loved it. Happy Easter....Cari
ReplyDeleteLili, it looks lovely! The napkins and tablecloth are such a pretty color. They and the doily are a wonderful homage to your sweet relatives. I think that is wonderful. You’ve made me think about potentially dying some of my off white napkins that I never use due to their lighter color. Well done.
ReplyDeleteMy Easter plans wound up topsy turvy (in a great way) when all of my family decided to come, and a day earlier than expected! So I’ve scrambled a bit and with a two year old at the table, our setting will be quite informal compared to past holidays!
I hope you and all the readers here will have a wonderful Easter.
Beautiful! Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteI would love to be a guest at your table. So elegant!
