Cheap travel containers for liquids when flying
A super cheap container option for your liquids when flying are snack-size ziploc bags. (They're about half the size of sandwich bags.) I use them for moisturizer, facial cleanser, hair conditioner and toothpaste. I just squirt a few days' supply into each bag, and use a Sharpie to label (so I know what's what). They take up less space than plastic bottles and are a fraction of the cost. I buy these bags at the dollar store, about 40 or so for $1.
