My Living Room Easter Decor

Hi friends,
I don't know what happened to my post from this afternoon. It was here in the evening and then it disappeared by 9 PM.
I'm sorry about that. Here's a slightly different video. I hope it stays put this time.

My living room Easter decor uses a couple of Peter Rabbit items, a pastel colored set of string lights from my daughters' childhood bedroom, a pair of cement bird figurines, a "nest" of blown-out eggs that I painted and speckled several years ago, a bisque porcelain egg that my daughter gave to me recently, the print-out of a vintage image that I framed, and my collection of circa 1900 Easter postcards. I hope you enjoy the video.

I'll have more to talk about tomorrow. See you then.

  1. You have a very festive and pretty living room. I know that your daughter is artistic--did she paint the egg? And who is the pianist? Inquiring minds want to know. :)

I have a few Easter decorations out, but I keep having to move them around. The kittens are having fun redecorating. I never know what they'll get into next.

    2. Hi Kris,
Thank you. No the egg is something she picked up in the vintage district near us. But I appreciate the gift from her just the same. The pianist is an anonymous player, from a site that provides free music for uploading. A clip art for music sort of thing. It is pretty, though.

      Your kittens sound very entertaining!

    3. I don't know if this is helpful, Lili, but I saw the video and while I was posting my comment, everything disappeared from this post except for the comments.

    4. Hi Kris,
This is such a puzzle to me. Thanks for the extra info.

  2. The video didn't work on my tablet, but I was able to see it on my desktop computer. You have some lovely things that were nicely set off by the music you chose.

    1. Hi Live and Learn,
Hmmm, it could be a difference like the default browser used by the 2 devices or version of browser. Or it could be the settings one on, like to block pop-ups. Or perhaps its a size thing with the tablet. This second video I resized (in data amount, not physical size) through Quicktime Player before uploading, hoping a smaller size would work better for uploading. Anyway, thank you. The dining room and living room are the 2 themed rooms this Easter.

  3. Lili, the room and decorations are just lovely. You are very talented in making everything so festive. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter. I wish you much health and healing and hope you feel better every day. Our gas price here is $3.49/gal and at this gas station they have eggs on sale for $2.49/doz. Chicago/Midwest ....Cari

    1. Thank you, Cari.
Best price for gas close to me is $4.34, and I found eggs in 5-dozen cases for about $2/dozen, almost half of what they were in February, but still double what they were in 2020. Our gas prices came down a little bit in January and February and now have gone back up.

Wishing you and your family a lovely Easter, Cari.
